Q: We currently working on a project that needs GaAs LED wafer. The ideal structure would be: (Top) GaAs_n_type/ barrier/Quantum well/barrier/GaAs_p_type/scarified layer/GaAs substrate (bottom). We would need to transfer the LED structure to another substrate by a lift-off process, and the whole LED structrure (from n-type to p-type GaAs) thickness should be around 500 nm. Could you please advise whether you have something that meets our requirement. Q:In the test report of blue LED wafers,it shows Vf and IV (mcd). How is this mcd being measured without actually processing the wafer into devices? A:We use prober equipment and contact positive and negative pole, connect current, and then get the voltage and IV.
Q:Do you have LED wafers that can be used for fabrication of various research oriented structures? If yes, is your wafer unfabricated ? A:Yes, we can offer LED wafers unfabricated without contact, however we also can offer COW(chip on wafer).
Q:For GaN on sapphire, could you please let us know which side is epi-ready? A:Ga-face,epi-ready and N face is connecting to sapphire.
Q:Regarding your red LED epiwafers, what about the top layer or cap layer on the epiwafer structure? A:As before we have p+GaAs(several nanometers only) in the top layer, however these two years, due to technology innovation, and all foundry remove this layer and now GaP as the top layer. But it dot not effect the usage, actually the performance is better than before.
Q:does the price include fabrication of p and n metal contacts? If not, can you fabricate p and n contacts plus SiO2 passivation based on my design? This can turn to a bigger project. A:Sorry, we can not offer fabrication of p and n metal contacts, also we can not fabricate p and n contacts plus SiO2 passivation.
Q:What wafer size do you provide with flat sapphire substrate? A:Currently we still can offer 2" wafer on flat sapphire substrate.
